The EL PASO STREETCAR PROJECT has downtown traffic down to a crawl, but when the project is finally complete in 2018, 6 streetcars will traverse 4.8 miles and take commuters and visitors to & from downtown international bridges, retail areas, government buildings, the convention center and the downtown ballpark with the medical center, the University of Texas at El Paso and several historic neighborhoods.
