Friday Night Blues

Fridays at 10:30pm

Friday Night Blues features the best blues from yesterday & today. The program is hosted by Norma Martinez. Since 1995, Norma has been playing everything from old scratchy recordings of the early 20th century, to the latest in blues rock. You can enjoy hearing all the joys and pains of life from great artists who capture every emotion with a belting harmonica or an electric guitar. Norma plays blues from around world, but no matter where the music comes from, it all hits the hearts of listeners with power.

Only 2 photos of blues legend Robert Johnson are known to exist.  In 2008, a photo came to light that may or may not depict the man who many claim sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads.  Controversy over that 3rd photo still remains.

However, a possible fourth photo (pictured here) has arisen that, again, may or may not be of Robert Johnson.  Read the article at http://keepingthebluesalive.org/controversy-reigns-over-unearthed-robert-johnson-photograph/
