Mexican author VALERIA LUISELLI wrote her novel "The Story of My Teeth" in installments in partnership with factory workers at a Jumex juice factory near Mexico City. Recently translated to English, the book is a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Fiction. The story follows a character who auctions off teeth of famous historical characters, like Pluto, Virginia Wolf, and Marilyn Monroe.
