Dr. Maceo Crenshaw Dailey, Head of UTEP African-American Studies and Kathryn Smith-McGlynn, former UTEP Visiting Assistant Professor and Co-Founder of Frontera Repertory Theater discuss their collaboration on the newly published book titled African Americans in El Paso, which covers history as far back as the 1500s, when blacks crossed the Rio Grande with conquistador Juan de Oñate.
