PERSPECTIVES: Amore

KTEP's Book Club continues with Roger Friedland's "AMORE: An American Father's Roman Holiday." As his twin daughters approached adolescence, sociologist Roger Friedland realized that in our casual hookup culture, it was love that was becoming unbelievable. Friedland is a cultural sociologist, and the book is an account of his and his wife, Debra’s, decision to weather the adolescent storm outside the States, allowing their girls to come of age in Rome, a city where love is alive and families hold.  https://www.facebook.com/rofriedland
