Hear A Wondrous New Bon Iver Song

Bon Iver.
Cameron Wittig & Crystal Quinn
Bon Iver.

Bon Iver's latest song, "33 'God,'" from the upcoming album 22, A Million, starts as a dewy piano ballad before erupting into a disjointed, drum-and-bass-heavy strutter. As on the previous two tracks Bon Iver has shared — "22 (OVER S∞∞N)" and "10 d E A T h b R E a s T ⚄ ⚄," — singer Justin Vernon's voice is heavily processed, with some nice ear candy bouncing around underneath the mix.

While Bon Iver has experimented with Auto-Tune, voice processing and other experimental sound textures on previous releases, 22, A Million is the band's most ambitious and expansive album to date. It's due out Sept. 30 on Jagjaguwar.
