GOOD TO GROW: Leaves in Your Landscape

  With autumn in the air, leaves are beginning to turn yellow, orange, and red...and are drifting off our trees into our (and our neighbors') yards.  Don't reach for that blower or rake - leave those leaves alone!  That yard litter is providing essential nutrients and protection for our landscape.   Plus...the more we know about the microclimates in our landscape, the better off we'll be preparing for the winter cold.
