Louie and noted photographer/journalist David Smith-Soto get together to talk about Smith-Soto's new photography exhibit at the Fox Fine Arts Glass Gallery. Titled "Street Photography 1954-2014," the exhibit features some of the UTEP Journalism professor's work from his 60 years as a working journalist. It also features some works curated from the collection of his best friend in photography, Mike Mitchell, who is a decorated celebrity photographer, noted for working with The Beatles, and other rock acts from the late 1960s through the '90s.  The exhibit benefits the ongoing UTEP communication department program, Borderzine, and its endeavor to teach journalism from a set of multidisciplinary platforms. Borderzine celebrates its 6th anniversary this month.

This is the extended conversation, with stories not heard in the on-air version of Focus on Campus.
