EL PASO PRIME TIME: Kern Place Centennial, plus the "Go Nuts" for Testicular Cancer Bike Tour

In Part one of this episode, Cheryl Garing talks with Joe Atilano from the Kern Place Homeowners Association about its centennial celebration that is scheduled for Sunday, April 27,  from 2-4 PM, at Madeline Park. All are welcome to come and celebrate with the residents there. Also, 100 trees are being sold to fund further philanthropic events that the association has planned for the remainder of the year. The available trees are live oak, red oak, Bradford Pear and desert willow, and are available by emailing the association at kernplaceassociation@yahoo.com or by phoning Joe directly at (915)799-1913. Look for the association on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/kernplace

The second part of the show deals with a sensitive topic of testicular cancer which affects young men mostly, 15-35, but also stretches into all age groups. Riders Christopher Olsen and Jason Morton visited the KTEP studios along with the founder and CEO of the Testicular Cancer Foundation, Matt Ferstler. They talked about their stories of discovery, healing and tetimony to early detection of testicular cancer. The three are now back on the road, on their way through Texas, to their final destination, Orlando, Florida.
