Drawing: The Essence of Art
August 5, 2010 - November 5, 2010 Location: Hal Marcus Studio & Gallery, 800 N. Mesa, Suite 350 This group exhibit is an all black-and-white show featuring area artists taking on subjects ranging from abstract to landscapes to portraits to still lifes. 40 artists present 100 drawings on 4 walls. Participants include Manuel Acosta, Maria Appelzoller, Willibald de Cabrera, Jose Clemente, Demetrio, Katie Foss, Pat Foss, Paul Hoylen, Gabriela Jimenez, Hal Marcus, Candy Mayer, Carmen Navar, Bill Rakocy, Eugene Thurston, and many more.
Hours: Tue-Fri 6-9 p.m.
Sept. 30 ARTalk, 7-9 p.m. Dress in black & white. Artists from the 40-artist group will talk about their art & inspiration. Refreshments provided. |
